Dispatch police personnel and maintain records and logs for all runs.

Essential Duties Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Answer telephones
-Dispatch police personnel
-Prepare radio log
-Maintain records and logs related to campus police operations
-Filing
-Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to Campus Lieutenant

SUPERVISION GIVEN: none

Preliminary Qualifications

EDUCATION: High school graduate or GED equivalent.

EXPERIENCE: None.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Some typing may be required. Should be computer literate. Department will provide on-the-job training.

Work Hours To be determined. Work hours will be based on college work-study funding. Scheduled work hours may not conflict with class hours. Position terminates at end of semester or when award is exhausted. Hours may not exceed 30 per week.

Salary $11.2156-$14.7482 per hour (2017-18 salary range)
