Preliminary Qualifications

-Master’s Degree in Chinese and near native fluency in Chinese
OR
-Master’s In Second Language Instruction and native or near native fluency in Chinese
OR
-Master’s Degree in another field and at least 20 graduate credit hours in teaching discipline and native or near native fluency in Chinese.
OR
- 30 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline as a part of a program leading to a degree higher than a master’s degree and native or near native fluency in Chinese

-Two years college-level teaching experience of Chinese as a second/foreign language.
-Capable of utilizing Smartboard, Elmo Projector, internet, and Microsoft Office technology in the classroom
-Expertise in current methodologies and culture-based instruction.

Preferred Qualifications
Work Hours General Macomb Community College offers daytime, evening, and Saturday classes. Please indicate in your cover letter your hours of availability.
Salary $626.40-724.15 per equated hour (17/18 salary schedule)
