Job Function

Perform various clerical duties in support of full-time staff.

Essential Duties Summary

-Primary clerical duties include helping students make appointments and maintaining appointment records in WCOnline and SARS, some filing, copying and emailing.
-Pick up and deliver items from various departments, as necessary
-Greet and properly direct students and staff
-May research departmental issues
-Correct and build departmental records
-Assist staff in implementing programs
-Track and order supplies
-Perform other related duties as assigned

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to the departmental administrator or supervisor as assigned. May take direction from full-time staff.

SUPERVISION GIVEN: None.

Preliminary Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school graduate or GED equivalent. Some education including relevant course work and/or formal training preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Excellent writing and verbal skills and the ability to follow precise procedures are required. High degree of accuracy required. May formulate project plans involving several departments. May be involved in the planning and implementation of projects. May be directly involved with agencies or persons outside of the college. May be required to use IIS system, Word, Excel and Outlook. Will be expected to learn and use Zotero/Mendeley.

Work Hours To be determined. Work hours will be based on college work-study funding. Scheduled work hours may not conflict with class hours. Position terminates at end of semester or when award is exhausted. Hours may not exceed 20 per week.

Salary $11.2156-$14.7482 per hour (2017-18 salary range)
